Yes. As of April 28, 2021, Tennessee Notaries are allowed to be wedding officiants / perform marriages. Since there are no provisions to regulate how Tennessee Notaries perform marriages, they must follow the rules required of all Tennessee marriage officiants. This is NOT true for most states. Tennessee is 1 of only 6 states that allow notaries to perform marriages. The others are Florida, Montana, Maine, Nevada, & South Carolina.
